Employer match
Yes, matching contribution. 100% on the first 3% you defer, plus 50% on the next 2%. Full match when you defer 5% of pay.
Step 1 · Upload plan
In production, an employer or adviser uploads any company's SPD once here so pulse and gap are plan-specific—not a generic template. This demo defaults to a synthetic Example Co. SPD. Optional upload stays on this device. FeatureHeld teaches features; it does not recommend funds or allocations.
Upload any company's SPD so employees' pulse and gap use that plan's features. Demo default: Example Co. 401(k) Plan · schema spd-facts-v0 · engagement employee-demo-synthetic. See spd-facts.json. No account numbers, balances, or holdings. Education only. On-device demo upload is never sent to a server.
Plan setup · employer / adviser
Once per plan. Drag and drop or tap to choose a PDF, TXT, or HTML SPD from any company. In this demo, PDF text is read in your browser (bundled PDF.js) and files never leave this device. Scanned image-only PDFs have no text to read; paste text instead. Long digit strings that look like account numbers are stripped. Employees take the pulse after setup—they do not upload the SPD in Learn.
Response rate · employer / adviser
Enter how many people you're inviting. After the pulse closes, add how many completed on the gap report. The gap report then shows your real rate on page one instead of the example. Optional. Counts only, no names or answers. Saved on this device only, like the uploaded SPD.
Turn on JavaScript to enter counts.
Reading the synthetic SPD and pulling out the features you were asked about.
Check each fact against your SPD. High means the parser found a clear rule; Check this and Not found need a closer look. Every fact needs an OK before the pulse can start. What the badges mean. Education only; not investment advice.
Parsed from the embedded synthetic SPD sample (schema spd-facts-v0, parser design-v0.1-demo). Not a real plan.

These facts describe what the (synthetic or on-device) document says. For how to allocate or which investment to choose, use the Hand off step. FeatureHeld refuses fund/allocation advice in-product.
